 Verified Timothy saved my vacation!! I was enjoying the beach with my family in Port A when our van showed signs of a failing alternator. I dropped it off at 5:30 on Wednesday. I called the shop and Timothy gave me directions. When I arrived he went to work immediately to troubleshoot the problem. My entire fuel system was cleaned and replaced in a timely manner. My wife and I came down to Corpus Christi to celebrate our anniversary and while leaving the Valero parking lot after buying a beach pass this morning I noticed that my brake line was dumping brake fluid all over the place and I had NO brakes. After calling several repair guys I was in big trouble. I had it towed to Advanced Diesel and those guys were totally awesome!! They stopped what they were doing and repaired my broken line and bled out my lines. WOW that is undeniably the best repair service I’ve seen in a long time. Awesome service and a big Thank you!

 Verified Dropped my truck off for an upgrade to the fuel system and Tim noticed right away that the crank case vent filter should be replaced. I didn't realize what a big deal it was until I read more about it. Turns out that it should have been replaced 90,000 miles ago and could have caused serious problems. He's a 45-minute drive from my house but is now my go to mechanic for all my vehicles.

Timothy had great reviews and I thought I would get a second opinion. Being 1300 miles away from home, you feel vulnerable and want someone you can trust. Timothy took my van for a test drive and said I had nothing to worry about and all was good. He didn’t even charge me for taking the test drive. I was having issues with my AC for about a week so I went to a few places and they we're charging me ridiculous prices JUST to diagnose the issue! We found Mr.Gonzales and he not only found the issue but he drove all the way across town to pick up the piece and had my car fixed in less than 24 hours!! The price for everything was less than all the other places were charging just to simply diagnose my car which was the best part! We took it to a couple of mechanics and they said it was the Death Wobble and we needed to replace our suspension, tie bar, and bearings. They quoted us an astronomical amount and the repairs would take days. We wanted a second opinion and Tim came highly recommended by family friends. He was able to identify the problem which was not the death wobble and saved us a lot of money. Knowing we were pressed for time to get on the road, he was able to work us in and repaired our truck in no time. Thankfully we made it back home safely and the truck rides smoothly.  Verified Please please please listen.... it doesn't get anymore honest than Mr. Timothy here. If Advance Diesel & Auto is out of your way take that chance. If you want the most bang for your buck, take that chance. If you want honest work done, TSKE THAT CHANCE. I promise this shop is worth it. Prices are fair and affordable. He goes above and beyond and takes pride in his name and work. He has to be one of the most honest mechanics that exist. I "thought" I needed a lot of work done and he looked me in the eye and said I could take your money but this is what you really need. Ive only met one other shop as such as his and that shop is in Florida! I will gladly be back here at the sight or thought of something being wrong with any of my vehicles because I know for a fact that I and my vehicles will be treated with the best care.  Verified Tim has a great history as a mechanic being able to gain experience from many great shops.  You can tell by talking to him that he's a car guy (and trucks, both gasoline and diesel). It's also hard to find an honest business that will be truthful with you about your vehicle and what needs to be fixed. We were very happy with his assessment and repair of our Ford diesel.
